First stage of the Vuelta a San Juan OK and first race of the season. The team did a good job today, we worked to keep the race under tight control, not allow the breakaway to take a big advantage and we stayed well positioned in the tricky final urban circuit. It was important to be in the front positions of the peloton in order to avoid any crashes. The final sprint didn’t go the way we would have liked but we all did our best today and we’ll try again tomorrow. #AllezTotalEnergies
Première étape de la Vuelta a San Juan OK et première course de la saison. L’équipe a fait du bon travail aujourd’hui, nous avons travaillé pour bien garder la course sous contrôle, ne pas laisser l’échappée prendre trop d’avantage et nous nous sommes bien positionnés dans l’épineux circuit urbain final. Il était important d’être aux avant-postes du peloton pour éviter les chutes. Le sprint final ne s’est pas déroulé comme nous l’aurions souhaité mais nous avons tous fait de notre mieux aujourd’hui et nous le ferons demain. #AllezTotalEnergies
