It was a very long stage at the Tour de Pologne, I could even say maybe too long, under a scorching sun and hot temperatures. It was also very fast, with an average speed of 42km/h. The team worked hard all day to control the escapees and reel them in, which we did in the final 10km. I tried my best in the sprint, taking third and four bonus seconds, but Ewan proved the fastest of the bunch. Again, sensations were good and tomorrow is another day. (Photo ATCommunication)
Dnes to bola veľmi dlhá etapa, povedal by som, že vzhľadom na horko a spaľujúce slnko, až príliš dlhá. Tempo bolo po celý čas vysoké, priemerne sme išli 42km/h. Náš tím celý deň tvrdo makal, v posledných 10km sme kontrolovali a sťahovali úniky. V sprinte som sa snažil urobiť maximum, ale najrýchlejší z balíka bol Ewan a ja som nakoniec skončil tretí a mám štyri bonusové sekundy. Znovu mám však dobré dojmy a zajtra nás čaká ďalší deň a ďalšie šance.
