In yet another flat stage of Le Tour de France that finished with a fast bunch sprint, the BORA-hansgrohe team worked hard to keep Rafał and me safe and out of trouble. I was well positioned in the final stretch but I think I started my sprint a bit early and couldn’t hold off the other sprinters coming from behind. Tomorrow is another day where we will take our chances and make sure we finish without incidents. (Photos Luca Bettini)
V ďaľšej rovinatej etape na Tour de France, ktorá finišovala rýchlym hromadným špurtom opäť celý tím pracoval dobre a udržal mňa aj Rafala v bezpečí a bez problémov. V špurte som mal dobrú pozíciu, ale myslím, že som vyrazil o trochu skôr a nemohol som udržať za sebou ďaľších rútiacich sa súperov. Zajtra máme opäť šancu, ale hlavne sa musíme vyhnúť všetkým problémom.
