The Sagan Fondo is a great occasion for two-wheeled sports enthusiasts to challenge themselves confronting with Sagan himself on a fun ride, sharing their passion for cycling and, most of all, having a good time.
Not only a great ride, this is a 360 degrees experience made of three days full of activities.
Starting on Thursday with the Gala Dinner and its Charity Auction to raise money in favor of at-risk youth, the Sagan Fondo goes on with the VIP Ride, VIP Lunch and VIP Dinner on Friday, for those who dream of meeting Peter and ride with him in a more exclusive situation.
Third day is ride day! The Granfondo takes off on Saturday, riders and guests can enjoy exhibitors’ village featuring the industry’s biggest names, music and delicious food while waiting for their moment for having a chat and taking a picture with Peter.
All this is made possible thanks to the precious support of our great partners: Specialized, Sportful, 100%, Osmo Nutrition, GoPro and the collaboration with The Specialized Foundation and King Ridge Foundation for charity purpose.
Held in Truckee, CA on May 5th 2018, the Dirt Edition is a challenging gravel race that Peter himself defined “tough” after having crossed the finish line.
But of course, basing on your preparation you can choose between the Short (23 miles/37 km), Medium (54 miles/87 km) and Long (68 miles/109 km) routes.
Held in Windsor, CA on November 3rd 2018, the Road Edition is an amazing ride through wonderful Californian routes and scenarios.
Different routes have been designed also in this occasion for you to choose one according to your preparation level: Short (33 miles/53 km), Medium (43 miles/69 km) and Long (70 miles/112 km) routes.

Together with the second Californian editions, 2019 will mark the raise of a new Sagan Fondo in Cartagena, Colombia and the participation of Peter at the Granfondo Océano a Océano in Panama.
The Gala Dinner represents the great opening of the Sagan Fondo experience. It consists of a special evening of fine food, the best California wines and most importantly the charity auction, which in collaboration with King Ridge Foundation and The Specialized Foundation allowed Peter raising $ 150,000.00 to serve at-risk youth and the local community.

More than the perfect occasion to share the passion for cycling while having a fine dinner, more than the chance of securing the amazing items and experiences at the silent auction and more than sharing all of this with Peter himself. The Gala Dinner goes much further, aiming to give kids in need the opportunity of using cycling as a tool to achieve academic, health, and social success.
An ambitious goal made possible by the people who raised their hands and spirits to support the King Ridge Foundation, The Specialized Foundation and Peter’s causes.
The charity auction exhibits a list of incredible items, going from race experiences to getaways near and far, from items related to Peter – like his bike frame signed by the whole Bora-Hansgrohe Team – to crazy experiences to be shared with him during the days of the event – like an aircraft tour at the Dirt Edition and a hot air balloon tour at the Road Edition-.
The smile on the faces of the guests who bagged these amazing prizes is irreplaceable; something that will remain not only in their minds, but also in those of all the people that beneficiated from their generous actions.
